Pork Carnitas Prepared in your Crock Pot

1 3-lb. boneless pork shoulder, cut into 2-inch chunks, trimmed of excess fat
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 large onion, quartered
3 cloves garlic

 

Directions

  1. Sprinkle pork with salt, chili powder, cumin and oregano. Place in a slow cooker along with onion and garlic. Cover and cook on low until meat is tender and falling apart, about 6 hours. Shred pork and serve hot with soft tortillas
